Sadly they don't.
Yes they do!
No. Plenty of seating and food
Nice people good food and it's not that long of a wait for food
Food was okay but the floor and restaurant were very dirty. Definitely ruins your appetite.
We love the poblanos enchiladas!
Solid three stars which means very average for food in Sanpete County. Most of the dishes we have had here get an ok rating, meaning you are not left hungry. Don’t order huevos rancheros unless you like your fried eggs served hard. I’m being generous in this review, but every rating on google reviews is inflated.
Flavorful food and quick service!
If you're ever travelling through Sanpete county this place is a must! I travel for miles to have their delicious salsa and guacamole. You can never go wrong with their fajitas, just don't touch the hot plate.
Great food at reasonable prices.
We have a cabin in the mountains nearby and whenever we come out we always plan a dinner at this restaurant. On occasion, we have encountered slower service but typically they are pretty quick. The food is pretty good, absolutely try their guacamole, it's divine!
Delicious Tex Mex -- I recommend El Mexicano
Delicious food. The fajitas came out on a steaming plate. The beans and rice were exceptionally good. Restaurant is a little hard to find, though. Just turn off of highway 89, and I think if you use google maps you shouldn't have too much trouble. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. The prices are about average for a sit down Mexican restaurant. It is the best Mexican food in town.
It was a good place to eat. Staff was friendly and professional, they accommodated a large group for my father's birthday. Will go back!
Food was good and the service was friendly and professional.
This Restaurant fills a very great need here in this area. The food is always good, and the Staff is friendly and helpful. Plus it's open on Sun.!! Highly recommend it!
We went here before a concert. Yes it was busy because of the concert but we waited over an hour and hadn't gotten food. We only got 1 drink refill and no chip refill. I told them we had to leave and asked how long it would be and they just said, "I don't know. We're busy". I asked if I could at least hurry the babies nachos and waited over 20 minutes and never even got that. We ended up leaving and when I told them I needed a bill for my drinks because I was leaving they just said ok and didn't apologize or anything. Very rude! They should be prepared when a special event is happening a mile away.
This place has gone down hill so much the service was terrible they had attitude every time we asked for something. We had to ask for more silverware twice because they didn't bring enough either time. Also had to ask 3 times for sour cream. They didn't give straws with any of the drinks. And in my own personal opinion the kids should get their food first and the 4 kids we had with didn't get their food for almost 10 mins after the adults. The food was so bland and the tamales was just mush and meat with no flavor what's so ever. I do not recommend this place at all. If you want good Mexican food go to malena's in ephraim. They actually care about the food and customers.
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. All of the food is great and there service is above and beyond.
Really enjoyed the Combo Fajitas here!
We love this place❤️. The interior isn’t 5 star so if that’s what you’re looking for then skip this place. BUT if it’s good Mexican food you’re looking for and quick and VERY polite servers then this is your place. It’s a small town, not NYC folks. They work hard and cook good food. We love to spend a Saturday drive going up there. (65 miles). Their Salina location is great too!
The food was really good. Service was great
Really good Mexican found in a small town. Go figure!
Service was a little slow, but food is always good!
It was great, good to have it open again.
Service was slow, have chili Verde and pork was dry.
Service was incredible! As was the food!
Fast service great food. Price is wonderful
authentic Mexican food with great flavor and served in a beautiful facility. The restaurant is designed with gorgeous warm wood pillars and beams and the furniture completes the feeling of warmth. The service is tremendous and we love this place
Wait. What? This food is amazing! Service is super slow but man, this food makes up for it in my opinion. I haven't found a place that's serves Mexican food like this in a while. Expect to feel neglected by the service but they get the orders and food right.
Pinesol a bucket of water and a rag... Cooks vary so much ❤️. It's like a box of chocolates 😂🤣. You never know what you're gonna get 😂😖😭😩 when I order to go on phone I don't want to wait 45 minutes after I get there 14 minutes like you told me on the phone... Forgot my dessert I paid for wait another 15 minutes. Ridiculous
Great prices for great portions.
The food here is excellent! Very good portions and good service. I only wish they would update the dining room, a lot of the seats are worn out and torn and the carpet is always dirty making it really difficult to relax and eat, if they would replace the flooring and the seats I'm sure it would be easier to keep clean and would be more comfortable.
Good food, nice atmosphere, great service. Thank you.
For a guy from Albuquerque New Mexico this is not the place to eat. The food had no heat and when you ask him to make flat enchiladas there definitely wasn't any sauce. Ask for an egg over easy on my enchiladas come out sunny side up and a hard yoke. It eas edible but that's as far as I would go.
The food was good and even though I was there during one of their busiest times I did not feel like I had to wait long at all for food or service.
Great Mexican food one of the best restaraunt in the Area.
I know they were busy but they still had issues. Slow. The food was fairly bland even for Mexican food, but the poblano enchiladas were an exception. Tortillas had a scoop of meat in one end with nothing in the other. Server never said more that 1 sentence to us. Prices slightly higher than comparable food and better service in Ephraim. They forgot our silverware. How do you eat mexican food without a fork? Had to wait a while after the meal was over for the bill, even though by that time they were fairly cleared out. The positives: food was okay, ample parking, nice greeter, lot of menu choices.
Usually very good! Today they were just OFF. We had to tell someone that we were waiting for our drink order after we gave it. Then we had to tell them we were ready to order thirty minutes after they got us our drinks. Then we waited and told them a second time that we were ready to order. Twenty minutes later, a hostess comes and takes our order. The visit went very smooth after we finally got help.
I stopped in last weekend for a to go order. This place is a favorite whenever we are in town. The server was pleasant, took my order in a timely manner and a short time later I was out the door with two yummy and filling meals.
This was not the worst food we have ever had, but it wasn't good either. It was just okay. Our overall experience however was not great. We had to ask for a refill on the chips and salsa and they only refilled one table (we had a big group). Some of the orders were wrong, some were cold. And the worst is that our waitress never came to check on us. We never got our water filled and we were there for almost an hour and a half. It took an hour to get our food and that was when it wasn't busy. We planned on ordering dessert but had such a terrible experience we left after having the hostess get our check because our waitress was no where to be found.
Pretty good considering the area. There isn't a ton here so its nice to have a sit down restaurant nearby. Love the guacamole! We usually buy some to take home!
Looking at the reviews they are great or poor. It seems to revolve around service. We went in during COVID-19 yellow where they just opened for inside dinning. They were staffed. Seating, water, chips & salsa, and order taken quickly. The food was Abit delayed, but it was Saturday night and they were busy. Many were waiting for pickup. My wife had a veggie buritto, I had the carne asada dinner. Plenty of food, good flavors.
Everything I ordered was delicious! While we waited the short time we ate thier delicious salsa & chips 😛
Food was great! Service left some to be desired.
Great food and great service!
My wife and I live in Texas and have traveled all over the country. El Mexicano is the best authentic Mexican restaurant hands down. The service, and food are excellent. You won't regret driving out of your way for it I promise. Free chips and salsa to. In Salina and Mt Pleasant. Wish we had one in San Antonio.
Great Mexican restaurant. We love the chips and salsa!
Love this place. Everything is wonderful. Always look forward to going when we are in town.
Good food and drink. Service could be more friendly
Pastor burrito is the best. Favorite Mexican food in Utah.
Their food is delicious with big portions! Their chips and salsa are delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Slow service, people dont seem to like their jobs, decor is lousy.
